A. Jensen Slate vliegenhengel (tip!)

Dit is ook een nieuwe serie van A.Jensen. Het instap-model van het topmerk. Value for money! De Slate komt behoorlijk dicht in de buurt van zijn duurdere broertjes en zusjes....Dit is een uitstekend werpende hengel met een medium fast action. Een makkelijk te werpen vliegenhengel met genoeg power om afstanden te kunnen werpen. Zeer geschikt ook voor verschillende visserijen. Echt een allrounder 1e klas dus. Gebouwd op een kwaliteitsblank met hoogwaardige materialen. Aan de kleur van de blank dankt de hengel ook zijn naam; Slate! De Slate is werkelijk een fantastische vliegenhengel en echt waar voor je geld!

Dit zegt A.Jensen over de serie;
The very well balanced Slate rods are a perfect rod for the intermediate fly fisherman/caster. The medium fast action gives you good line control, but still enough power for long casting.
We have designed the Slate rods using Advanced Helical Taper, which assures the rod is a great fishing tool, not only as “stiff” casting tool. It is a joy to fish, cast and play fish on.
In this series you find a great rod for a lot of fishing situation such as fishing in streams, in rainbow trout fisheries, for seatrout in both streams and along the coastal areas etc etc.
For added comfort when playing the bigger rainbows we have added a fighting butt on the # 5 , # 6, # 7 and # 8 models.
The blank is slate (dark) grey and it has a rough appearence as the blank is non grinded. Wrappings are in black with slim silver trimmings and overall quality fittings. This makes the Slate rods beautiful and very well performing.
Even though this is not the most expensive rod in the A.Jensen range we have not chosen cheap fittings. For the handle we use top quality AAA grade Portuguese cork, shooting guides are the best in the business at present time - the Titanium guides from American Tackle.
When you take the price into consideration, the Slate rods turn out to be a very good value for money.
